Polish hostels are generally of very good quality with all the modern facilities and services you would expect from a hostel in northern Europe. Staying in a hostel is a great way to meet people. Hostels are ideal for people travelling alone, who want to get to meet other travellers and make new friends.
Poland is full of backpackers (students, couple, hippies, all sorts!) all in need of cheap budget accommodation. All the major Polish cities have plenty of hostels to choose from. In the resort areas, there are generally more hotels than hostels, but you’ll easily find a place to stay.
