Climate, Poland, Europe

The climate in Poland is mostly temperate with four distinct and prominent climates.

Summer:

Summer is usually warm with periods of rain. The temperature ranges from 21-32 degrees Celsius. July is the hottest month but in august you will find the warmest water temperature when you go to the sea. The summer nights are very comfortable sometimes chilly at the end of august.

Autumn:

September is the first month for the start of a spectacularly colourful autumn. In this period you will notice the leaves of the trees changing giving unforgettable landscapes when you travel throughout Poland.

Winter:

December is usually the first very cold month as it marks the start of winter. Temperatures in winter usually range between -5 to 3 degrees Celsius. The cold is tolerable as it is usually dry and interchanged with flakes of falling snow, covering Poland sparkling white. You can expect to see snow until March or may in the mountains.

Spring:

Poland’s season of rebirth and smiles as wildflowers, animals and the people are in full colour and spirit. Spring starts in March and continues until April or May with temperatures often between 10 and 20 degrees Celsius.
